The Sierra Vista Unified School District is proud to offer the Klein Center for the Performing Arts as a venue for the school and Sierra Vista community. This unique facility, sharing a campus with Buena High School, opened in 1992, and is a testament to Sierra Vista and Cochise County's commitment to the arts.
The center contains three performance venues: An 896-1308 seat facility featuring a well equipped 1,600 square foot stage, a 206 seat little theatre/recital hall and a lecture facility. Rehearsal, classroom, meeting, and expo space is also available.
Each school day, the Klein Center is devoted to the support of curricular arts education at Buena High School and throughout SVUSD. In addition, the facility provides additional opportunity for student growth through diverse extra-curricular classes, job training and productions.
On July 10, 2018, the SVUSD Governing Board unanimously approved the renaming of the Buena Performing Arts Center to the Klein Center for the Performing Arts honoring William “Rick” and Margaret Klein for their combined 97 years of dedication and service to the youth and Community of Sierra Vista.
The Klein Center for the Performing Arts is located in Sierra Vista, Arizona which is approximately 70 miles southeast of Tucson. Sierra Vista is a growing community of nearly 45,000 and is the home of historic Fort Huachuca. The city is surrounded by the beauty of majestic mountain ranges and the San Pedro River.
